Narsai's asparagus sauce

Ingredients

4Green onions; minced
1Lemon; zest and juice
cupExtra virgin olive oil
2Oranges
½Jalapeno chile pepper; minced
6Sprigs basil or mint; chopped
1poundsAsparagus; steamed

Directions

CITRUS: 1 lemon: grate the peel, zest only; squeeze for juice. 2 oranges: grated zest; peel and finely dice the sections.

Mix all ingredients together and use over a bunch of asparagus to feed 4 to 6.
