Grilled sweet onion "jam"

Yield: 8 servings

Measure Ingredient
4 Grilled sweet onions; peeled & sliced
1 tablespoon Butter
1 tablespoon Canola oil
1 cup Balsamic vinegar

Melt butter and oil in a medium skillet, add onions and cook until onions begin to caramelize.

Add balsamic vinegar and continue cooking until liquid has a syrupy consistency.

This is a delicious garnish for grilled vegetables.
