Yield: 2 Servings
|2 cups||White flour|
|1½ teaspoon||Baking powder|
|4 tablespoons||Lard or shortening|
Mix all ingredients into a dry dough. Knead on lightly floured board about 5 minutes. Wrap dough for about ½ hour. Form the dough into two balls.
Roll balls into flat disks. Cook on a lightly greased griddle, browning each side. These are excellent bread for any Mexican meal or as wrappers for burritos.
