Deviled cornish hens

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 Cornish hens, skin removed
2 tablespoons Water
¼ cup Soy sauce
½ cup Red wine
1 tablespoon Sherry extract
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
½ teaspoon Hot pepper sauce
2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
½ teaspoon Pepper
3 tablespoons Dry bread crumbs

Directions

Split hens in half down the back. Place in a shallow pan. Combine remaining ingredients, except bread crumbs and pour over hens.

Marinate several hours, turning occasionally. Preheat oven to 350.

Sprinkle half of the bread crumbs over hens. Bake 30 minutes. Turn hens, sprinkle with remaining crumbs. Bake 30 minutes more.
