Dal (indian spilt-pea soup)

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Dry yellow split peas
2 Celery stalks; finely chopped
1 large Carrot; finely chopped
1 medium Onion; finely chopped
2 tablespoons Sweet butter
1 tablespoon Curry powder
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
1 Bay leaf
½ teaspoon Salt
3 Chicken bouillon cubes
2 quarts Water

place all ingredients in crockpot -- stir, cover, cook on low for 7 to 9 hours. garnish with chopped green pepper.
