Cornbread & sausage stuffing

Ingredients

| 4 | cups | Cornbread, broken up |
| 1 | Onion, grated | |
| 1 | cup | Diced celery |
| 2 | Eggs, beaten | |
| ½ | cup | Melted butter |
| Salt and pepper | ||
| 1½ | cup | Sausage |
| 3 | Dozen chestnuts (optional) | |
Directions
Pour boiling water over bread and squeeze out fairly dry. Add remaining ingredients except sausage and mix well. Brown sausage and add to stuffing. Use for stuffing pork, lamb, or as a side dish for you main meal. Submitted By MICHELLE BRUCE On 11-22-94
