Blitzkuchen (lightning cake)

Ingredients

| 1 | cup | Butter -OR- |
| ¾ | cup | Margarine |
| 1 | cup | Sugar |
| 4 | Eggs | |
| 1½ | cup | Flour sifted WITH |
| 1½ | teaspoon | Baking powder |
| Grated rind AND | ||
| Juice of 1 lemon | ||
| Sugar AND cinnamon | ||
Directions
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well, add flour, lemon juice and rind and spread 1-inch thick on flat pan.
Sprinkle with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon ang bake 20 minutes at 350ø F.
