Asparagus with curry sauce - sl 1/90

Ingredients

| ½ | cup | Mayonnaise or salad dressing |
| 2 | teaspoons | To 3 tspn curry powder |
| 1½ | teaspoon | Lemon juice |
| 1 | pounds | Fresh asparagus spears -OR- |
| 2 | eaches | 10-oz packages frozen asparagus spears; thawed |
| 2 | tablespoons | Capers |
Directions
Combine first 3 ingredients; cover and chill.
Snap off tough ends of asparagus; remove scales with a knife or vegetable peeler, if desired. Cook asparagus, covered, in a small amount of boiling water 6 to 8 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain.
Arrange asparagus spears on a serving platter; top with curry sauce, and sprinkle with capers. Yield: 4 servings.
