|1 tablespoon||Oil; up to 2|
|Herbs of your choice- plenty|
|2 cups||Boiling water|
|Salt or parev chicken soup powder|
In a microwave proof cassarole heat oil then soft saute the vegetables for 5 mins. Add rice, boiling water, herbs and pepper and soup powder. Cover tightly and cook on high for 18-20 minutes. You don't have to check, or stir during the cooking.
Bits of meat or fish could be added to make a one dish meal. This reheats easily
