Hot oatmeal applesauce cake

Yield: 16 Servings

Measure Ingredient
½ pounds Butter
3 teaspoons Sugar, brown
4 \N Eggs
3 cups Applesauce
3 cups Flour
1 cup Oatmeal,uncooked
1¼ teaspoon Salt
½ tablespoon Cloves
1¼ teaspoon Nutmeg
½ tablespoon Allspice
1 tablespoon Cinnamon
1 tablespoon Baking powder
4 ounces Cream cheese
2 teaspoons Butter
1 tablespoon Vanilla
6 cups Sugar, confectioners; to 8 cups

ICING

Mix the melted butter and brown sugar together. Add the eggs and applesauce, and mix well. Mix the dry ingredients together and add to the liquid. Bake in a greased bundt pan coated with a mixture of half a cup of flour and one tablespoon cinnamon. Bake at 375 F for 35 to 45 minutes.

Icing: Mix all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth. Drizzle over the hot cake.

(Recipe makes two cakes with eight pieces per cake)
