Turnip & bacon soup

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
¼ pounds Streaky bacon, rinds off
¼ pounds Chopped onions
¼ pounds Chopped potatoes
¾ pounds Chopped turnips
2 pints Stock
Fat for frying

Chop and fry bacon and onions. Add potatoes, turnips and stock. Cook gently until vegetables are soft.

Adjust seasoning and serve.
