Measure Ingredient
1 tablespoon Cornstarch
⅓ cup Water
6 tablespoons Brown sugar
¼ cup Rice vinegar (or white
\N \N Vinegar, use 2 T less)
¼ cup Orange juice (or 1 T
\N \N OJ concentrate)
3 tablespoons Ketchup or tomato puree
3 tablespoons Lemon juice (or vinegar)
2 teaspoons Regular soy sauce
½ teaspoon Ginger root, minced
¼ teaspoon Hot chili oil, optional
¼ teaspoon Hot sauce, optional
1 tablespoon Pickled ginger,
\N \N Shredded, optional

"Supposedly Pekingese Style, but I doubt it." Mix cornstarch and water. Add rest of ingredients. Bring to a boil.

Cook over medium heat until glossy and thickened.
