|2 cups||Self-rising flour|
|¾ cup||Milk; more or less|
Heat oven to 450. Cut shortening into flour. Stir in milk. Round dough up on lightly floured board. Knead gently 10 times. Roll out to ¼ to ½-inch thick. Cut into rounds. Place on ungreased pan. Bake 10-12 minutes.
