Lentil bobotie

Ingredients

| 10 | millilitres | 2 tsp sunflower oil. |
| 2 | mediums | Onions peeled and chopped. |
| 1 | Clove garlic, crushed. | |
| 15 | millilitres | 1 tbsp curry powder. |
| 50 | grams | 2 oz sultanas |
| 5 | millilitres | 1 tsp dried mixed herbs. |
| 250 | grams | 8 oz red lentils. |
| 300 | millilitres | Half pt skimmed milk. |
| 15 | millilitres | 1 tbsp vinegar. |

Directions
Heat the oil in a pan and gently fry the onions for 8 minutes. Add the garlic and fry for a further 2 minutes. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Place the mixture in a large greased oven proof dish and cover with foil. Cook in the oven at 180 c, 350 f, gas mark 4 for 1 and three quarter hours.
