Lemon steaks ( sirloin~ new york strip )

Measure Ingredient
2 tablespoons EACH-OLIVE OIL, LEMON JUICE
2 pounds MEAT, SIRLOIN OR STRIP STEAK
1 x LEMON, CUT IN HALF
1 x SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE

IN A SMALL BOWL, STIR TOGETHER OIL AND LEMON JUICE. PLACE STEAKS IN A CLOSE FITTING PAN AND POUR OILS OVER THE TOP. LET STAND FOR 1 HOUR AT ROOM TEMPERATURE. PLACE STEAKS ON A RACK IN THE BROILER PAN. PLACE PAN 3 INCHES FROM FROM HEAT, BROIL FOR 5 MINUTES ON EACH SIDE OR TILL DONE TO DESIRED LIKING WHEN CUT. TRANSFER TO A CUTTING BOARD AND THINLY SLICE; SQUEEZE LEMON OVER SLICES AND SEASON TO TASTE WITH SALT AND PEPPER.
