Hamburger\cheese biscuit ring

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
2 pounds Ground beef
⅓ cup Chopped onion
1 can Cream of celery, condensed
½ cup Tomato juice
¾ cup Beef bullion
¼ cup Shortening
⅓ cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
¼ cup Ketchup
1 teaspoon Chili powder
¼ cup Pimento stuffed olive, slice
12 eaches Cheese biscuits
Pimento olives for garnish
2 cups Buttermilk biscuit mix
⅔ cup Milk


Brown ground beef and onion in large skillet, pour off excess fat.

Add all ingredients except biscuits, simmering until slightly thickened.

To serve: spoon mixture into center of platter and surround with hot cheese biscuits, garnish with sliced Pimento stuffed olives.


cut shortening and shredded cheese into 2 cups all p[purpose buttermilk biscuit mix. Add milk, stir with fork to make soft dough, beat 15 strokes. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 425 F. 12 to 15 minutes.
