Cape breton oat cakes

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Rolled oats
2 cups Bran
2 cups White flour
1 cup White sugar
1 cup Shortening
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Soda dissolved in:
¾ cup (scant) warm water

Bake at 350 for 12 minuted or until done.
