Banana bonanza ice cream *

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Milk
2 cups Whipping cream
2 Eggs; beaten
1¼ cup Sugar
2 mediums Bananas, extra ripe; peeled
½ teaspoon Vanilla
¼ teaspoon Salt
⅛ teaspoon Ground nutmeg

In saucepan, combine milk, cream, eggs, and sugar. Cook and stir over low heat until mixture thickens slightly and coats the back of a spoon. Cool to room temperature. Puree bananas in blender ( 1 cup).

Combine cooled custard, bananas, vanilla, salt and nutmeg. Pour into freezer container. Freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
