Apple cobbler #2 - diabetic

Measure Ingredient
FILLING
8 smalls Apples, peeled, cored & sliced
Artificial sweetenre to = 3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons Flour
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
1 teaspoon Vanilla
½ teaspoon Salt
¼ cup Water
TOPPING
½ cup Flour
Artifical sweetener to = 1/2 cup sugar
½ teaspoon Baking powder
¼ teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoons Soft butter
1 Egg **

Mix filling ingredients in a 8 x 8 x 2 pan. In a small bowl then mix the topping ingredients. Drop in eight mounds atop the aple mixture. Bake at 375 for 35 - 40 minutes. Cut in 2 inch squares. Serve Warm.

Serves 8. 1 Serving = 98 calories, 1 Fruit Exchange, ½ Bread Exchange and ½ Fat Exchange.
