Yield: 6 Servings
|1||Apple; tart, shredded|
|7 ounces||Cheddar cheese; shredded, (aged Vermont)|
|1||10 inch pie crust; homemade|
|1½ cup||Whipping cream|
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Saute the apple for 5 minutes in the butter.
Combine with the cheese and place in the pie shell. Combine the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the apple and cheese. In a bowl lightly whisk together the eggs and whipping cream, and pour over the apple and cheese.
Bake for 35 minutes or until set.
