Apple bread #2

Yield: 2 servings

Measure Ingredient
½ cup Butter
2 cups Peeled, diced,apples
1 cup Sugar
½ cup Chopped walnuts
2 Eggs
½ cup Raisins
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 tablespoon Butter (melted)
2 tablespoons Buttermilk
¼ cup Packed brown sugar
2 cups All purpose flour
¼ teaspoon Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Vanilla

Cream butter, slowly adding sugar, beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Dissolve baking soda in buttermilk, add to batter, mixing well. Stir in flour.

Add vanilla and stir well. Stir in apples, walnuts and raisins.

Spoon into 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Drizzle melted butter over loaves. Combine brown sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle over loaves.

Bake at 350 for about 40 to 45 min. Cool in pan for 5 minutes and then cool completely on rack.
