|2||Egg whites, slightly beaten|
|2 teaspoons||Ground cayenne pepper|
|2 teaspoons||Mixed dried herbs|
|1 tablespoon||Garlic salt|
|4 cups||(1 lb.) walnut halves|
Coat a large, shallow baking pan with non-stick vegetable spray. Mix egg whites with spices. Stir in walnuts; coat thoroughly. Spread in prepared pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven 15 to 18 minutes, or until dry and crisp. Cool completely. Makes 4 cups.
