"smothered" steak

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
1½ pounds Chuck or round
Steak, cut in strips
1 4 oz can mushrooms,
Drained
⅓ cup Flour
2 tablespoons Molasses
(optional)
1 teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper
3 tablespoons Soy sauce
1 large Onion, sliced
10 ounces Package frozen
Green beans, French-style
(optional)
1 To 2 green peppers, sliced
16 ounces Can tomatoes

Put steak strips, flour, salt and pepper in CROCK-POT. Stir well to coat steak. Add all remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on Low 8 hours. (High: 4 hours). Serve with rice. From Rival Crock-pot cook book, date unknown
