|¼ cup||Granulated sugar; divided|
|½ cup||Plus 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour; divided|
|½ cup||Finely chopped pecans; divided|
|/4 c butter; divided|
|2 ounces||"M&M's" Chocolate Mini Baking Bits; divided|
Preheat oven to 350ø F. Lightly grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan; set aside. In large bowl combine ¾ cup sugar, ½ cup flour and ½ cup chopped pecans; add ¼ cup melted butter and mix well. Press mixture into bottom of prepared pan. Bake 10 minutes or until set; cool slightly. In mixing bowl cream ½ cup butter and ½ cup sugar; add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in vanilla. Combine 1 cup "M&M's"r Chocolate Mini Baking Bits with 3 tablespoons flour; stir into creamed mixture. Spread mixture over cooled crust. Combine coconut and remaining pecans; sprinkle over batter. Sprinkle remaining ¾ cup "M&M's"r Chocolate Mini Baking Bits over coconut and pecans; pat down lightly. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until set. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
Store in tightly covered container. MAKES 24 TO 36 BARS.
