Yield: 12 Servings
|⅔ cup||Firmly packed light brown sugar|
|1 teaspoon||Vanilla extract|
|1¾ cup||All-purpose flour|
|¾ teaspoon||Baking soda|
|½ cup||Shredded coconut|
|¾ cup||Coarsely chopped macadamia nuts|
|12 ounces||"M&M's" Chocolate Mini Baking Bits|
Preheat oven to 350ø F. In a large bowl with electric mixer, cream butter with sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg, milk and vanilla, blending well. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; blend well into creamed mixture.
Blend in coconut and macadamia nuts. By hand, stir in "M&M's" r Chocolate Mini Baking Bits. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets; flatten slightly with back of spoon. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or just until set. Do not over bake. Cool 1 minute before removing to wire rack; cool completely. Store in tightly covered container. MAKES ABOUT 4 DOZEN COOKIES.
