| Measure | Ingredient |

| 4 cups | Whole wheat flour |
| 2 tablespoons | Baking powder |
| 1 teaspoon | Salt |
| 2 tablespoons | Wheat germ |
| 2 tablespoons | Oil |
| 2 cups | Milk or water |
Mix the dry ingredients together. Mix wet ingredients. Add together and mix well. Place on floured board and knead 3-4 times. Shape into loaf and put in greased bread tin. Bake at 400 F for 10 minutes, then lower oven to 325 F and bake 1 hour longer.
