| Measure | Ingredient |

| ½ cup | Sugar |
| 1 tablespoon | Cornstarch |
| ½ teaspoon | Cinnamon |
| ¼ teaspoon | Cloves |
| ¼ teaspoon | Nutmeg |
| ¼ teaspoon | Salt |
| 1 cup | Seedless raisins |
| ½ cup | Finely ground carrot |
| ½ cup | Hot water |
| 1 cup | Coarsely chopped apple |
Combine all dry ingredients, and add to the raisins and carrot. Add water, bring to a boil and simmer about 5 minutes. Then add apple.
