1 cup | Sugar |

1½ cup | Flour |
¼ cup | Butter, melted and cooled |
1 teaspoon | Baking soda |
½ teaspoon | Salt |
1 cup | Pecans or walnuts, chopped |
Mash bananas with sugar (or mix in bowl of Kitchen-Aid mixer). Sift dry ingredients together in a bowl. Mix egg with cooled melted butter. Add egg mixture to banana and sugar mix. Stir in dry ingredients and nuts. Pour into loaf pan. Bake at 325 for about 1 hour or longer. Test for doneness with toothpick.
