White trash orange marmalade

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
8 \N Oranges
\N \N Water
\N \N Sugar
1 can Crushed pineapple
1 \N Bottle maraschino cherries
\N \N Chopped walnuts

Cut oranges into wedges. Remove any seeds. Process oranges, rind and pulp until thoroughly chopped. Into pot measure the orange mixture, and add 1 cup water for each cup orange mixture. Boil for 10 minutes. Add 1 large can of crushed pineapple, and bring back to boil. Continue to boil an additional 10 minutes. Remove from heat.

Let stand overnight or for at least 12 hours. Using 1-½ cups sugar to 1 cup orange/pineapple mixture, return to boil. Continue cooking until mixture is thick. Before removing from heat last time, add 1 bottle maraschino cherries and some chopped walnuts if desired.

Place in sterilized jars and seal.
