| 1 cup | Whipping cream |
| dash | Ground cinnamon |
| 1½ teaspoon | Cornstarch |
| 2 tablespoons | Cold water |
| 1 tablespoon | Bourbon |
| 1 tablespoon | Unsalted butter, cut into pieces |
Slowly heat the sugar, cream & cinnamon in a heavy saucepan, stirring often, until mixture just starts to boil. remove the pan from heat.
Dissolve the cornstarch in the water & stir into the hot cream mixture. Cook & stir until thickened, about 1 min. Add bourbon & slowly beat in the butter to finish sauce. Serve over pudding.
