1 cup Sugar
1 cup Whipping cream
 dash Ground cinnamon
1½ teaspoon Cornstarch
2 tablespoons Cold water
1 tablespoon Bourbon
1 tablespoon Unsalted butter, cut into pieces

Slowly heat the sugar, cream & cinnamon in a heavy saucepan, stirring often, until mixture just starts to boil. remove the pan from heat.

Dissolve the cornstarch in the water & stir into the hot cream mixture. Cook & stir until thickened, about 1 min. Add bourbon & slowly beat in the butter to finish sauce. Serve over pudding.
