|4 pounds||Watermelon; chilled|
|3 tablespoons||Fresh ginger root; pureed, or more to taste|
|2 tablespoons||Fresh lime juice|
|Sugar; to taste|
|Crushed ice; to serve|
Cut the watermelon in wedges, remove and discard the rind and seeds. Blend the flesh in a food processor with the ginger and lime juice. Add water if the mixture is too thick. Add extra sugar, if needed. Serve over crushed ice.
