Measure | Ingredient |

2 cups | Red wine vinegar |
2 cups | Water |
⅓ cup | Firmly packed brown sugar |
¼ cup | Worcestershire sauce |
2 tablespoons | Dry spice rub (see recipe above) |
½ teaspoon | Hot sauce |
Combine all ingredients in a medium-size bowl, stirring well. Cover and let mixture stand at room temperature 8 hours.
