| 1½ cup | Finely chopped pecans |
| 1½ cup | Whole-wheat bread crumbs |
| 1¼ cup | Finely chopped spinach |
| ¾ cup | Grated carrot |
| ¼ cup | Chopped green pepper |
| ¼ cup | Chopped red pepper |
| 6 | Shallots, chopped |
| 2 tablespoons | Chopped celery |
| 1 tablespoon | Chopped fresh parsley |
| ¼ teaspoon | Pepper |
| ¼ cup | Mayonnaise |
| 2 tablespoons | Butter or margarine |
Combine chick-peas, pecans, bread crumbs, spinach, carrot, green and red pepper, shallots, celery, parsley and mayonnaise. Shape into 6 patties.
Saute patties in butter, cooking until browned on both sides.
