4 cups Cooked veal, cubed
Medium-sized onion, sliced
2 tablespoons Diced bacon
1 cup Canned tomatoes
Hard-cooked eggs, sliced
1 teaspoon Salt
¼ cup Fat
1 cup Diced potatoes
⅓ cup Rice
2 tablespoons Butter
¼ teaspoon Pepper
1 cup Water

Combine bacon, potatoes and onion and brown in hot fat.

Add the chopped veal and seasoning.

When slightly browned, add the water and cook several minutes.

Cook rice until soft, drain and add tomatoes. Season.

Pour the meat mixture in a greased baking dish.

Cover with rice and tomatoes and place sliced eggs on top.

Add small pieces of butter. Cover.

Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
