Toasted herb bread

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 \N Loaf thinly sliced bread
1 cup Butter; softened
4 tablespoons Chopped chives
1 teaspoon Basil
1 teaspoon Savory

Preheat oven to 325ø. Remove crust from the bread. Combine softened butter with the herbs and mix well. Spread herbed butter on both sides of slices of bread and cut in half. Place on a cookie sheet and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Yield: 4 to 8 servings.
