½ cup | Shredded cheddar (I use more...we like the cheesy taste) |

1 cup | Milk |
1 cup | Cracker crumbs (saltines) |
1 dash | Pepper |
From: "Sharon H. Frye" <shfrye@...> Date: Thu, 11 Jul 1996 18:39:47 EDT Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine squash, onion, and butter in a skillet. Saute' until squash is tender, then coarsely mash with a fork. Add Remaining ingredients. Pour into a greased casserole dish. Bake at 375 degrees until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Let sit 5 minutes before serving.
