sweet onion supper bread

| Measure | Ingredient |

| ½ cup | Chopped sweet onions |
| 2 tablespoons | Butter |
| 1 pack | Corn muffin mix |
| ½ cup | Sour cream |
| ½ cup | Shredded sharp American cheese |
Cook onion in butter until tender but not brown. Prepare corn muffin mix according to package directions. Pour into greased 8 x 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan. Sprinkle muffin mixture with cooked onion. Mix sour cream and cheese; spoon over the top. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes, or until done. Let stand a few minutes before cutting into squares.
