| Measure | Ingredient |

| 1 pounds | Lean ground beef |
| ¼ cup | Water |
| ¼ cup | Breadcrumbs |
| 1 | Egg |
| 1 small | Onion; grated |
| 1 teaspoon | Salt |
| ⅛ teaspoon | Freshly ground pepper |
| 1 cup | Canned chili without beans |
| ½ cup | Grape jelly |
| Juice of 1 lemon |
Combine first 7 ingredients and blend well. Shape into 1-inch meatballs.
Combine remaining ingredients in medium saucepan and mix well. Add meatballs, stirring lightly to coat with sauce. Simmer about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
