6 pounds Single beef brisket
2 larges Onions, sliced
1 clove Garlic, minced
¾ cup Brown sugar
½ cup Vinegar
1 cup Catsup
1 cup Water
1 tablespoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper

Place brisket in heavy skillet and brown on all sides, add onion and garlic and brown. All other ingredients are now added simmered (covered) until meat is tender, about 2½ to 3 hours. Randy Rigg Submitted By DOROTHY FLATMAN On 07-11-95
