This is a bread to make sunflower-lovers sing. The sunflower seeds impart a lovely, subtle taste and a lovely, chewy texture. Toasted, this bread does wonderful things with fruit and jelly, and it will breath new life into that predictable cheese sandwich.
Sunflower seed salt content varies by brand. If using low-salt or unsalted seeds, adjust salt accordingly. If usint unsalted sunflower seeds, increase the salt by a pinch.
