| 2 packs | (8 oz) cream cheese; softened |
| 1 | Carton; (8 oz.) sour cream or plain yogurt |
| 1 small | Onion; finely chopped |
| 1 dash | Garlic salt |
| 1 dash | Chili powder |
| 1 | Bottle; (12 oz.) cocktail sauce |
In a collander, drain both cans of shrimp and rinse. Take collander and sift shrimp (so big shrimp pieces come up to the top). Rserve about 2 tablespoons of larger shrimp pieces. Blend together cream cheese, sour cream, onion, garlic salt and chili powder until well blended. With a fork, gently add shrimp to cream cheese mixture. Shape shrimp dip into a ball on a plate and sprinkle reserved large pieces of shrimp on top. Drizzle cocktail sauce over shrimp dip and serve with assorted crackers.
