|¼ cup||Warm water|
|1 cup||Creamed cottage cheese, heated|
|1 tablespoon||Minced onion|
|1 tablespoon||Celery flakes|
|2 teaspoons||Parsley flakes|
|2¼ cup||Flour (or less)|
|¼ teaspoon||Baking soda|
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Let set about 10 minutes. Combine heated cottage cheese, butter, egg and seasonings. Stir in flour, mixing well.
Knead about 5 minutes on floured board. Place in greased bowl and let rise until double, about 1 hour Punch down and shape into loaf of bread or cloverleaf rolls and place in greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees. Bake bread for 40 to 45 minutes; bake rolls for 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 1 loaf or 1½ to 2 dozen rolls. Excellent with chicken salad.
