Stuffed tomato with crab meat

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
6 \N Firm; ripe tomatoes, peeled & cored
1 carton (8-oz) small curd creamy cottage cheese
2 tablespoons Chopped green pepper
\N \N Salt & pepper to taste
1 pint Mayonnaise
1 \N Bottle (12-oz) chili sauce
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
1 can (6-oz) crab meat; drained, bones removed & flaked
2 tablespoons Finely chopped celery

CRAB MEAT DRESSING

Peel tomatoes, core them & cut in eighths, almost to the bottom. Drain. Mix cottage cheese with chopped green pepper. Salt & pepper to taste. Stuff tomatoes with mixture & cover with crab meat dressing. Crab Meat Dressing: Mix ingredients together well & refrigerate. Spoon over stuffed tomatoes.

Good on lettuce and sliced tomatoes. Keeps well in refrigerator.
