3 cups | Kix (about 1 1/2 cups) -- crushed |
¼ cup | Margarine -- melted |
2 tablespoons | Margarine -- melted |
1 \N | Envelope gelatin powder, unsweetened |
10 ounces | Frozen strawberries (reserve juice) -- thawed and drained |
⅔ cup | Boiling water |
2 cups | Vanilla yogurt |
1 teaspoon | Vanilla |
Heat oven to 350. Mix cereal, margarine and sugar; press firmly in bottom of ungreased square pan. Bake 10 minutes. Cool completely.
Sprinkle gelatin over reserved strawberry liquid; let stand 1 minute.
Pour boiling water over gelatin. Stir until gelatin is dissolved; cool completely. Place strawberries in food processor. Cover and blend on high speed until smooth. Mix gelatin mixture, yogurt and vanilla until smooth; stir in strawberries until well blended. Pour over crust. Refrigerate uncovered until set, at least 4 hours.
Refrigerate any remaining dessert.
