Steamer candied apples

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
8 mediums Cooking apples; peeled, cored and chopped
¼ cup Red hot candies
⅓ cup Brown sugar
1 dash Nutmeg

Place apples into rice bowl. Add 1 cup water to reservoir, cover and steam 19 to 22 minutes.

Stir in red hots, brown sugar and nutmeg. Add ⅔ cup water to reservoir, cover and steam 14 to 16 minutes.

Serves 6
