| Measure | Ingredient |

| 1 | Bottle (750 ml) red wine |
| ½ cup | Sugar |
| ½ teaspoon | Whole allspice |
| 6 | Whole cloves |
| ½ teaspoon | Dried ground orange peel |
| 2 | Sticks (1-1/2 inch) cinnamon |
| 1 dash | Nutmeg |
| 3 inch square cheesecloth and string |
SPICED WINE PACKET
To make spiced wine packet, place spices and peel on cheesecloth and tie into bag with string. Combine wine, surar and spice packet in saucepan and simmer for 20 minutes. DO NOT BOlL. Remove packet before serving. Yield: 6 servings.
