| 3 packs | (3-oz) orange gelatin |
| ½ pint | Vanilla ice cream |
| ⅛ teaspoon | Cinnamon |
| ½ cup | Water |
| ¼ cup | Red cinnamon candies |
| 1 | Apple; peeled and cut in thin wedges |
| 1¼ cup | Boiling water |
| ½ cup | Cold water |
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Measure ½ cup gelatin mixture, add ½ cup cold water and chill until thickened. Blend ice cream and cinnamon into remaining gelatin and chill until slightly thickened. Melt candies in ½ cup water over low heat. Add apples. Simmer 8 minutes, turning several times. Drain. Cool. Arrange apples on ice cream-gelatin mixture. Top with remaining gelatin. Chill until firm.
