|2 cans||Kidney beans|
|2 cans||Tomato sauce|
|2 mediums||Onions; chopped|
|1||Green pepper; chopped|
|2||Garlic clove; minced|
|2 teaspoons||Salt; optional|
|Cheddar cheese; lowfat, grated|
In a skillet, brown beef, drain. Transfer to a slow cooker. Add the next 9 ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high 4-4½ hours.
Garnish individual servings with cheese if desired.
1 serving = 1 cup Prepared with extra lean meat and without cheese.
