6 slices Bacon, cut in julienne
  Strips
1 medium Cabbage, cut into 8 wedges
¾ cup Water
Scallions, washed & sliced,
  Including tops
1 teaspoon Salt
⅛ teaspoon Pepper

1. Brown the bacon in a large heavy skillet. Add scallions and saute until golden brown. 2. Place cabbage wedges in the skillet; add water, salt and pepper; cover, and simmer for 35 minutes, turning occasionally with a fork. Makes 6 servings.
