Measure | Ingredient |

2 pounds | (about 8) medium-sized yellow squash |
2 ounces | Jar diced pimiento; drained |
2 tablespoons | Water |
2 tablespoons | Butter or margarine |
¼ teaspoon | Dried whole basil |
¼ teaspoon | Garlic powder |
\N \N | Salt & pepper to taste |
Wash squash, and cut into ½-inch-thick slices; place in a 2-quart casserole. Sprinkle with pimientos. Add water, and dot with butter; sprinkle with basil & garlic powder. Cover with heavy-duty plastic wrap, and microwave at HIGH for 12 minutes, stirring every 4 minutes.
Let stand, covered, 10 minutes before serving.
